Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I installed Ubuntu desktop i386 20090721.3 with ubiquity 1.99.0, and selected "automatic login".

In the final system, /etc/gdm/custom.conf ends up as

[daemon]
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=ubuntu
TimedLoginEnable=true
TimedLogin=martin
TimedLoginDelay=10

I. e. TimedLogin is correct, but AutomaticLogin should be "martin", not "ubuntu". This is probably an artifact from casper which configures it that way for the live system?

  * user-setup-apply: Don't set AutomaticLogin=ubuntu, use the actual user
    name. (LP: #402707)

This needs to be picked up in ubiquity once user-setup is published.
