Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

This happens in several applications.

On Karmic, I'm seeing buttons that have an underscore instead of an underline for the accelerator key. It's more obvious what I'm talking about by looking at the screenshot I posted.

It happens only on certain buttons, but on those certain buttons it happens consistently. I don't know why. And the accelerator is actually broken on the keyboard when this happens, as well. Underlined accelerators work fine, but underscored accelerators are not even registered on the keyboard.

Thank you for your work there, could you send the patch to GNOME? Not sure it makes sense, that property should be default in gtk rather than having to change all applications now

And Matthias Clasen (bugzilla gtk) said there were recent updates to gtk and glade. Should we sync/update the Ubuntu versions of these products?

  * debian/patches/24_use_underline_for_clear_button.patch:
    - history window: enable "use-underline" for the "Clear" button
      so that accelerator works. (LP: #407596)
