Bug Description

Binary package hint: konversation

In default configuration I have this path for konversation log:
$HOME/.kde/share/apps/konversation/logs

The $HOME does not expand in the user path but remain $HOME

I expected:
user@host:/home/user/.kde/share/apps/konversation/logs

I got:
user@host:/home/user/$HOME/.kde/share/apps/konversation/logs

System:
ii konversation 1.2~alpha5-0ubuntu1
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10
Codename: karmic

Also with 1.2~alpha4-2ubuntu1, starting from the 6 august, maybe related with KDE4.3 upgrade?

Hmm, ok. It seems that the KDE4 version no longer likes the $HOME env var. We probably want to remove this from kubuntu-default-settings, and then just patch the default location in konvi itself.

Nevermind, no need to patch konversation. We can just fix this in k-d-s.
