Bug Description

Binary package hint: cupsys

if i choose to print 1 copy, it prints 1, 2 copies = 4 printed copies, 3 copies = 9 printed copies, 4 copies = 16 printed copies.

it seems to be taking the number of copies and multiplying by itself. im running ubuntu karmic (fully updated).

Which printer model do you have?

Can you provide an error_log as described in the "CUPS error_log" section of

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems

Changed in cupsys (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

It is a Canon iP2600. The error log I printed a blank page. I chose 3 copies and it spit out 9.

Please try the attached cpdftocps by replacing the original /usr/lib/cups/filter/cpdftocps with it. Make sure that the new file will be executable again ("sudo chmod 755 /usr/lib/cups/filter/cpdftocps").

Does this solve your problem?
