i'm writing a prototype OSS compositional tool in python (slurry.sourceforge.net). the gstreamer jackaudiosink is buggy and insufficient - i would love to be able to distribute the program with jack bindings, however i cannot do this until the pyjack bindings have also been packaged and distributed.
if someone can teach me how, i would be happy to maintain the packaging of this library.

I experimentally built pyjack for quantal. It's in my PPA. https://launchpad.net/~maciej-blizinski/+archive/audio/+packages

The only patch was to change the installation path from hardcoded python2.6 to python2.7.

Lintian reports a problem with lack of numpy abi version. It recommends adding dh_numpy to debian/rules. I added it, but it didn't help. The package works, though.
