Bug Description

Binary package hint: oem-config

In oem-config the user is presented with the timezone that was selected by the oem-user.

In this case UK

On the third screen the keyboard suggestion should mirror this and suggest English UK for layout.

However it suggests USA for the keyboard layout.

tested on 12.04.4 :

- If you installed in OEM mode with KB layout Y , then the suggested KB layout will be Y whatever language & country you will choose.

That's a very serious problem as we wanted to ship the same Ubuntu image for several machines aimed at several different countries.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
