Bug Description

update-manager 0.124.11, Ubuntu Karmic

1. Disconnect from AC power.
2. Start Update Manager.

What you see: An alert with
* the ugly title "update-manager"
* primary text "Running on battery"
* secondary text "Your system is running on battery. Are you sure you want to continue?"
* buttons in the wrong order, "Continue" and "Close".

<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareUpdateHandling#alert>: "The secondary text for the alert should consist of one or more list items, depending on the exact situation ... Whenever the computer is running on battery, there should be an item (fixing bug 484249 and bug 494772) with exactly the same battery icon as the power status menu is currently using for the battery, and the text: “It’s safer to connect the computer to AC power before installing.” (fixing bug 426708)."

One other issue, I use shortcut keys frequently and this dialog has alt-c assigned to both continue and close. As a result Alt-c doesn't work for either option.

If this is more appropriate as a new bug report I can open one.

The ordering and the dialog title is fixed, the text should to be fixed after the string freeze.

This dialog is unnecessary and annoying imho. It Interrupts the users workflow: If he decides to install updates while running on battery this should be no problem (running a distribution upgrade is another issue).

So I suggest to remove this dialog and instead place a small note in the mainwindow.
