Bug Description

Binary package hint: xkb-data

There is a USA Russian Phonetic keyboard layout in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/us . However, when you go to Keyboard Preferences/Layouts/Add and try to Search by Language/Russian, this layout does not show up in the list.

This is apparently because rules/base.xml was missing a language tag indicating it was Russian. It was instead showing up under English Language keyboard layouts.

Source package: I cant figure it out if it is xkeyboard-config or xkb-data ... when I apt-get source xkb-data it gives me xkeyboard-config, but when I look in this bug system for xkeyboard-config it says it no longer exists, so I put it under xkb-data. On top of that, when I debuild the package in the xkeyboard-config directory, it gives me an xkb-data .deb file.
