Bug Description

Binary package hint: mplayer-nogui

In karmic mplayer-nogui does not use pulseaudio as the default audio output as I would expect as pulseaudio is the default sound system.

It goes through something like this:
[AO OSS] audio_setup: Can't open audio device /dev/dsp: Device or resource busy
AO: [alsa] 44100Hz 2ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)

Adding the option -ao pulse works, presumably the default config file could be updated to reflect this.
