Binary package hint: pulseaudio

everytime i boot i have to select mic as my input device.otherwise it selects my line in as default.(it dosent save my preference)i have to celect some other in put and then mic again to make it work.it was there in jaunty.now in karmic too.

I cant remember whose post it was but Im thankful to him/her who posted this tmp. solution.Added this to startup & it works the way i wanted

amixer cset iface=MIXER,name='Mic Playback Switch' off,off
amixer cset iface=MIXER,name='Input Source' 1 # select CD as input
amixer cset iface=MIXER,name='Capture Switch' on,on
amixer cset iface=MIXER,name='Input Source' 0 # reselect mike
