Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

My laptop connects to the internet through a router via wifi. I connect my PS3 to this laptop using an ethernet cable. I set it up so that my PS3 connects to the internet through my laptop. I set this up through the GUI by setting the method to "Shared to other computers" under the IPv4 settings tab. Then I set up the PS3 to automatically configure its network connection. This has worked fine for me from alpha 5 when I started using karmic up until I updated earlier today.

At the moment the PS3 cannot access the internet or the local network (it used to be able to access a web server I have upstairs). The PS3 is able to get an IP address (10.42.43.10) from the laptop and eth0 on the laptop also has an IP address (10.42.43.1) when the PS3 is turned on. dnsmasq also appears to be running.

I can also confirm that the PPA packages fixed this in the latest Karmic as of today.
