Bug Description

Binary package hint: ntp

When I so some action with network interfaces, NTP messages interrupt my console output, after command promt returned. If ntp server doesn't start very fast, the messages can be mixed with the output of next commands for example.

root@ruclen:~# ifdown eth0; ifup eth0
 * Stopping NTP server ntpd
   ...done.

root@ruclen:~# //continue working
root@ruclen:~# //continue working
root@ruclen:~#
root@ruclen:~# * Starting NTP server ntpd
   ...done.

I suppose the bug is in /etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate scrpit

When I want to run in recovery mode, NTP server messages spoil the menu, so that it's difficult to use it anymore.

To reproduce the bug some interface should bring up not immediately after boot, after some time. In my case it is PPP-connection. Photo is attached.
