Bug Description

Binary package hint: gpicview

Hi,

I like to show high resolution pictures with my (slow) Laptop. And I don`t like to wait one or two seconds for the next picture after pressing space bar.
A solution could be to use downsized pictures, with respect to a screen resolution. Switching between pictures is then rather fast. I would like to share a simple script that create these in background.

Principal Logic is:
-Creating symlinks for every picture in /tmp/thumbnails
-show fist picture with GpicView
-substitute the synlinks by thumbnails (eg. 1024 pixel width) in background

Have fun and make suggestions (jonas-bergel(a t)gmx(p o i n t)de)
Bye
Jonas
