Bug Description

Binary package hint: lxsession

lxsession doesn't set some Xft xsettings keys, like Antialiasing. It should read those from teh desktop.conf file and set them.
gnome-settings-daemon for example set them, see plugins/xsettings/gsd-xsettings-manager.c.

Re-affect to lubuntu-default-settings, it's working if there desktop.conf is correct.
Settings near GNOME default :
iXft/Antialias=1
iXft/Hinting=1
sXft/HintStyle=hintslight
sXft/RGBA=rgb

This bug was fixed in the package lubuntu-default-settings - 0.10

   - Set some Xft keys for better font rendering by default. LP: #518168
