I get the same crash message whenever I launch firefox 3.6.3. I am using the bindwood addon 1.0.3 although I'm not sure if it would trigger the crash with desktopcouch-service.

bindwood 1.0.3-0ubuntu3
desktop-couch 0.6.3-0ubuntu3
firefox 3.6.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu2
Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) beta 2

Correction: In my case, the uninstallation of the bindwood firefox addon stops desktopcouch-service from crashing. Maybe I should have filed this report under a separate bug for bindwood;
bindwood triggers this error when launching firefox:
desktopcouch-service crashed with IOError in __init__()

This may be what triggered my crash, or it may have been something to do with my (wireless) network.

I don't have a wireless message, but I got this right after a kernel crash message that it started to report then said it was not an ubuntu package for some reason. Loony, I am using a stock kernel 2.6.32-19-generic

(Saw the kernel message 2x, saw this one once. Can't say what if anything I did to trigger it, just normal usage.)
