Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.17

With the 2.6.17 kernel the thermal_zone folder is empty. Everything was ok with the 2.6.15

The laptop is a TravelMate 8000 series

Same thing on my laptop with feisty herd 2. Fan don't work anymore. Laptop very hot where the cpu is located.

I have try with and without acpi=force and the result is the same.

In lsmod asus_acpi seem loaded, but my laptop is not an asus.

I have no more problem with this. thermalzone are working. Fans are a different issue for me.
