Incomplete Vietnamese translation for items listed in desktop main menu

The Firefox .desktop file is not translatable in Launchpad.

You will need to add the translation to the file itself. I'll add a Firefox task for that in case you want to provide that translation. For an example of a similar bug for Thunderbird, here is how Spanish translations were added on bug 543590

I took the /usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop file from a Lucid installed computer and added three entries for the Vietnamese language. I attached the file here. I hope it's OK like that. If so, then I suppose you can forward the firefox.desktop file to whom it may concerns for inclusion to the Ubuntu file system ?

Thanks a lot for the new translation. you might also want to subscribe to bug 614190 to follow the progress, as other localisations are being added there.

If there isn't one already, you might want to add a Vietnamese translation for the Thunderbird .desktop file as well.

It would be great to get this for Thunderbird also, please file a new bug with the appropriate translations.

Micah: where is the upstream for the FF/Thunderbird .desktop files? Is there any upstream where we could send the translations too as well?
