I m really thinkin in reporting this bug as nobody answered in previous question OR BUYGS: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/90715

Perhaps this is only for bugs but as I said in that link I strongly believe in a unification OF BUGs and Questions but Im startin to tire myself of loosing mi time in reporting bugs and questions to get ANY, rpeat ANY question..¿?

I installed ub 9.10 afetr formatting 9.04 and when connectin to internet window appeared saying to upgrade some packages. All fine execpt GRUB. Then to reboot I can't enter to my Windows XP partition !

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

I formatted and installed Ubuntu 10.04 as nobody answered telling the fix.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
