Is your network connection up and running or are you running the upgrade offline ?

Offline when I attempted this. It was attempted in a attempt to get my wireless up and running as a hard line is out of the question and while installing the bcmwl kernel, followed by the STA driver in Live-CD works for some reason it cannot do this after install it claims it can't get all the dependencies which doesn't make sense to me as it could while in Live-CD mode. I was under the impression that fwcutter would of been able to retrieve what was needed from the firmware or something, perhaps I'm mistaken as this not my area of expertise.

The driver needs to be connected in order to download it's firmware. I don't know why it works when using it from liveCD. Setting status back to new.
