Bug Description

Binary package hint: kontrolpack

KontrolPack 2.0.7 fixes a lot of bugs since 2.0.3 release. The last tarball URL is available on sourceforge.net website :

Is it possible to see KontrolPack updated into the universe component for Lucid Lynx?

I've packaged version 3.0.0 and will upload it when development of Ubuntu 12.04 opens. The package for Natty and Oneiric can be previewed in my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~randomaction/+archive/ppa

kontrolpack (3.0.0-0ubuntu1) precise; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (LP: #573780).
  * Add build dependencies: libssl-dev, libxml2-dev, libsqlite3-dev.
  * Refresh 01_su-to-root-desktop-file.patch.
  * 02_link-with-crypto.patch: new patch, fixes build.
  * Put *.so library in a subdirectory of /usr/lib, add 03_set-rpath.patch to
    find it.
  * 04_spelling.patch: fix spelling errors found by lintian.
  * 05_format-safety.patch: fix FTBFS due to warning.
  * Update homepage and watch file.
  * Use source format 3.0 (quilt) for patches.
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.2.
