Bug Description

In the daily generated language packs from [1], the gnome-desktop-2.0.mo (which must be in language-pack-gnome-es) file went away since 20060823. The language-pack-gnome-es_1%3a6.06+20060821_all.deb package contains it, but it's not in
language-pack-gnome-es_1%3a6.06+20060823_all.deb and subsequents.

Since then, therefore, there are some important strings untranslated into Spanish. For example:

- Into Places menu ("Lugares", in Spanish) at the GNOME top menu:
  - Home Folder (it must be "Carpeta personal")
  - Computer (it must be "Equipo")
  - Network Servers (it must be "Servidores de red")
- Into System menu ("Sistema", in Spanish):
  - About GNOME (it must be "Acerca de Gnome").

All the translations are perfectly in Rosetta since Dapper release, as you can see in [2], so this issue seems to be a problem in the langpack generation procedure.

Carlos, I don't see anything obvious here. The langpack checkbox is active, the domain name is correct. What gives?

Sorry... it seems to be a problem in _my_ installation of language-pack-gnome-es-base package. After reinstalling it, the problem was gone.

I suppose I was confused about the gnome-desktop-2.0.mo disappearance from language-pack-gnome-es since 20060823. Now I see that, almost sure, this is not related with my issue.

I close this bug as invalid now. Thanks a lot.
