Bug Description
I have 16:10 monitor which I use with BeagleBoard. When I boot with 1280x800MR-16@60 screenmode I have display which fits screen nicely.
But during installation of ubuntu from preinstalled image I got X11 in 1280x720 resolution which does not fit on my display.

This also affects omap4 images. Essentially, the only thing that should be changed on the cmdline by jasper is the root= parameter and maybe any parameters added after first boot. Existing parameters should be left as is, as some are needed for developers and debuggers.
