Bug Description
Binary package hint: logwatch
Hi,
as mentioned in the release notes for Ubuntu 10.04 (https:/
Many of the logfile definitions in /usr/share/
default.conf:
$ grep '^LogFile.*.0$' *
daemon.conf:LogFile = daemon.log.0
kernel.conf:LogFile = kern.log.0
maillog.
secure.conf:LogFile = auth.log.0
syslog.conf:LogFile = syslog.0
dist.conf:
maillog.
messages.
Due to this, logwatch reports contain only half the truth.
I know this is easily fixed locally, but I am of the opinion that it should work out of the box.
Thanks for listening!
