Hello,

I am testing Kubuntu Mavrick 20100803.3 x86 64 on virtualbox OSE 3.2, and on live session m the first boot it was freezing and hang on KDM loading.

The second time it loaded the desktop with "desktop windows" full of repo, like download, document etc.. but in same time quit after a few time and go again in KDM login panel and ask about a user and pass..

I put "ubuntu" as user and no pass and enter, and it loaded the desktop, this time without repo in "desktop" except the installer.

Now i will try to install....

ISO TESTING FOR Kubuntu DVD amd64 [20100804]:

tested on virtualbox OSE 3.2 Swiss/French, no installer on desktop, and hang on when want to shutdown on "casper is resyncing snapshots and caching reboot files"

HI Martin,

I think that it can be related with this build : Kubuntu Mavrick 20100803.3

But for the DvD build look another problem, i don't get the KDM page and don't get the desktop with installer...

So far only the last build of the Kubuntu Alternate 64 worked fine finally. I don't know if that's can help for packing .

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 613453

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
