Bug Description

Binary package hint: lxtask

I'm using Lubuntu 10.10 alpha 3. The summary CPU usage in LXTask (0.1.3-1) is always 0% and there's also another "%" before the number, just like on the screenshot. I play something on YT to show that there is atleast one process that should raise up the CPU usage bar.

Thank you for your bug report, it's maybe a problem with your locale. Could you do in a terminal :
export LANG=C
lxtask

And see you have still the problem ?

Peter:

You asked for an update on this issue.

Are you seeing this issue yourself? If you are, please say so in the bug itself, and let us know which version of Lubuntu are you running, and which locale are you using?

So far, as far as I know, no-one has reported being able to reproduce the issue, in order to work on it. The original report was from an Lubuntu 10.10 Alpha release, which is now at least 7 months old.

It would be very helpful to know if others are seeing this issue.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I have never seen this issue. I have tested on clean installs of lucid, maverick & natty, as well as systems that have been upgraded to the next version and I'm unable to reproduce.

On my other system, up to date ubuntu 10.10 I have the same issue.

export LANG=C
lxtask

works, but I've got lxtask in english, but I'm sure you're aware of that. What can I do, to help?

In reply to comment #4, jmarsden, I asked for updates as I haven's seen the issue. I thought that we should close the bug.

Cheers,
