Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
In Ubuntu 6.06 The Frequency scaling worked quite nice, and the system automatically adjusted the frequency according to the apps I use. After a dist-upgrade (i use edgy now) the Applet says
"Frequency scaling unsupported" and the cpu speed is at 1.6 GHz freezed (maximum speed) (it shows 100%)
Kernel: 2.6.17-10-386
CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor: 2.16.0.1
if you need more infos don't hesitate to contact me
kind regards
nitschi

ok, i see that this is a kernel-related problem, not from the applet
i hope there will be a bugfix soon
