Bug Description
Dell Inspiron 9400
Once X11 shows up, the mouse and keyboard act in weird ways. For example mouse buttons stop working, and the keyboard inputs several times the same key even though it was pressed only once (eg. 'aaa' for 'a'). This is a bit random like if there was spurious events.
Booting with 'noapic' fixes it, but only one CPU core works in that mode so that's a bit of a waste.

Fixed with 'notsc' as boot parameter. Reported upstreams as http:// bugzilla. kernel. org/show_ bug.cgi? id=7291
