Bug Description

Binary package hint: dvdstyler

I've just installed dvdstyler (version 1.8.1-0ubuntu2) in Ubuntu 10.10 beta and noticed it doesn't show in the applications menu. No desktop launcher has been installed. By comparing the package's file list with that for Ubuntu 10.04, one can see that the following files are missing:

/usr/share/applications/dvdstyler.desktop
/usr/share/man/man1/dvdstyler.1.gz
/usr/share/pixmaps/dvdstyler.png

Good catch: those files are supposed to be moved to dvdstyler-data package, but got lost during the move.
I'm testing the resulting package and will upload shortly.

This bug was fixed in the package dvdstyler - 1.8.1-0ubuntu3

dvdstyler (1.8.1-0ubuntu3) maverick; urgency=low

  * debian/dvdstyler-data.install: also install usr/share/pixmaps,
    usr/share/applications and usr/share/man. This will bring back the desktop,
    manpage and icon files (LP: #650794)
  * debian/control: Standards-version bump to 3.9.1. No changes required.
