The change required is in line 4493:

From:
      GNUTLS_LIB=-lgnutls

To:
      GNUTLS_LIB="-lgnutls -lgcrypt"

Uploaded with a minor correction in the package's changelog and the "Maintainer:" field set to Ubuntu Developers (you forgot to do that).
