Bug Description

In Ubuntu 10.10 with the Ambiance Theme selected, or any theme and Ambiance selected under Theme -> Customize -> Controls, certain Input Boxes, such as the broadcast message input box on the "Me Menu" have a dark background regardless of what color you have selected for input boxes in the theme's customization menu.

This makes certain Input Boxes a serious strain on the eyes to read, since they are stuck as a dark grey background with black text.

Changing the color of "Input Boxes" under Customize -> Colors when any other Control Theme is selected will change the color of the Me Menu and other Input Boxes.

Ok, I've found out what I believe caused this.

I had followed the tutorial on this website to enable RGBA transparency in GTK+:

http://www.webupd8.org/2010/05/enable-rgba-transparency-in-ubuntu-910.html

I undid the changes and voila, no more messed up coloration! I may not have followed the instructions correctly, or RGBA may still be imperfect. Oh well, I hope this helps!
