openoffice write crash while manipulate image, for example move image among the text or only click in image among the text and crash click in save document.

I'm facing exactly the same problem. But OO only crashes on Linux (Kubuntu/Edgy openoffice.org 2.0.4-0ubuntu2, Mon Oct 16 01:14:49 UTC 2006). When I use OO under Windows, it doesn't crash in the same image manipulation.

Please recheck using these packages (add these lines to /et/apt/sources.list):

deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/ubuntu/ edgy/$(ARCH)/
deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/ubuntu/ edgy/all/

Please submit bug reports to malone, referencing the exact version and
platform you did use for testing.

exactly same problem with my openoffice.org. I'm trying to update with the new depot. If itś working I suggest to do an official update for edgy. It's definitively a major problem especially to convince people to use linux instead of windows. We lose one user because of this problem...

Same problem here, image maipulation causes crash of OOo on my Kubuntu 6.10, standard official sources.
I´m gonna try an update with the sources mentioned, but i agree with Nicolas: There should be an official update, it`s quite impossible to work with this Bug. If I image, this would be the time when I wrote my examination paper...

I completely agree with Nicolas Gruel. I'm coming from another OS, and after this and anothers, I seriously thought about moving back ... But I'm persistent :) Using gedit to copy/paste :)
