Bug Description

I was just installing Ubuntu when the installer crashed. Every time I try to install Edgy Beta I get this error.

I am using a Sony Vaio VGN-FE660G.

Could you attach to this bug (using Add a comment/attachment link), /var/log/installer/syslog if it exist?

/var/log/installer/syslog doesn't exist. All that is in that directory is version which has the line "ubiquity 1.1.25"

Paul, /var/log/installer/syslog no longer exists in Edgy. Please don't ask for it if the version of ubiquity in the log is 1.1.12 or greater.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 62939, and is fixed in current Edgy.
