Bug Description

Binary package hint: rekonq

Kubuntu 10.10
rekonq (0.6.1-0ubuntu1)
paraview (3.8.1-1ubunu1)

I have a compatibility issue with rekonq. It prompts me to install the "video encoding" when i start the browser, but if i install it my paraview stops working.

When i install paraview again the packages to be removed/installed are:

The following extra packages will be installed:
  libavcodec52
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libavcodec-extra-52
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libavcodec52 paraview
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B/42.0MB of archives.

Apparently rekonq is unninstaling my libavcodec52 everytime when i install "video encoding"

paraview should depend on libavcodec52 | libavcodec-extra-52.

affects: rekonq (Ubuntu) → paraview (Ubuntu)

This bug was fixed in the package paraview - 3.8.1-2ubuntu2

---------------
paraview (3.8.1-2ubuntu2) natty; urgency=low

  * Remove debian/shlibs.local. The shlibdeps shouldn't be hardcoded
    in the package. (LP: #676464)
