Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

dist-upgrade from Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) to Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) on amd64 architecture through update-manager did not succeed. Error message ist:

Could not install 'nessusd'

subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Previously it complained about a changed /etc/nessusd.conf and I chose to use the package version and overwrite the changed local file.

I see that the upgrade as such does continue nevertheless. Probably only nessusd will be broken after it finished.

Happened to me too. It's i686 my machine. Upgrading from dapper to edgy.

Let me know if you need my log files, although they look a lot like the ones posted.
