Bug Description

Binary package hint: kopete-meanwhile

Steps taken to crash:

- Settings -> Configure...
- On Accounts click on New...
- Select Meanwhile, click on Next
- Filled username on "Basic Setup" tab
- Filled internal server on "Connection" tab
- Click on Next
- Select "Connect now" and click on Finish
- Kopete crashes

Tcpdump doesn't show any packets being sent to the server.

No! sorry, that upstream bug is really old and most probably it is not the same bug.

After I've re-debuilded edgy package problem doesn't appear anymore. Building the package was not possible before applying attached patch.

This package has been included in the kdenetwork source package in feisty. If you need to backport this patch into edgy, please see the StableReleaseUpdates wiki page.
