Bug Description

Binary package hint: bibus

Ubuntu 10.10
bibus 1.5.1-3

When the program starts, you should see the menu bar (File - Edit, etc. ..), but this does not happen.
I think this is not due to a bug in Bibus, but instead is a problem with wxPython.

I attach a patch for the source code to prevent this behavior. The patch just add "UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0" to the environment variables, fixing the problem.

This bug is still in 12.04.1 using 1.5.2.2 (the packages from Sourceforge).
