Bug Description

Binary package hint: streamtuner

Streamtuner hasn't been maintained since several years.
The author announced years ago not working on it anymore
http://www.nongnu.org/streamtuner/

Bug:
During the past years stream-directory services changed interface and URL and streamtuner is losing more and more listings to the point that it is almost useless as a directory service (only xiph is still working at the moment)
so IMHO streamtuner can be considered as more or less broken at the moment.

Eval:
At the moment I have installed Streamtuner2 (a streamtuner clone completely written in python)
http://milki.erphesfurt.de/streamtuner2/
It is a complete look-alike relacement, up-to-date and it is functioning very good (somewhat faster than the original).
I downloaded and used the .deb package on the site....gdebi resolved the dependencies automatically.

Possible fix:
I propose to drop streamtuner from the repository in favour of streamtuner2.
