CD Live boot on IBM Thinkpad T40 ati radeon mobility 7500. I've already selected to change user session so what is Compiz doing failing on shading??? Why is it trying to do that at all, I'm expecting the change user session to switch to a login screen so I can select Ubuntu classic no effects.

Seems apport-cli -u doesn't want to add my latest crash data to this bug... but I can confirm that even after the libglew reversion, unity_support_test still dies at the same point on the same machine.
