Bug Description
I am running Natty 11.04 x64, and I have noticed that there is no indicator appearing in the top right to show that a backup is taking place. I know that in Maverick (10.10) there was a little icon up there showing when a backup was processing.
I thought this was one of the new indicators, but obviously I am mistaken.
Is there plans to get this functionality into Deja-Dup? It is really useful to see when a pack is processing and how far it's going.
valorin@thorin:~$ dpkg-query -W deja-dup duplicity
deja-dup 17.90-0ubuntu4
duplicity 0.6.12-0ubuntu1

With 17.90, I added libunity integration. So now it will appear as an icon in the launcher, with support for its progress bar and quicklists. This is instead of the indicator. If you aren't using unity, it will fall back to its indicator.
However, there was a bug in 17.90, fixed with 17.91 (which is about to be uploaded). This will at least show the icon again. There are still two issues with it: bug 732997 (window flashes for a second) and bug 735920 (progress bar and quicklists aren't working).
