Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

The "Options" button at the bottom-left of the screen on a default theme appears to be perfectly flat and covering a large area. However, it actually stops a few pixels away from the screen border.

This means you cannot "slam" the mouse to the bottom-left corner and click, expecting to get a menu.

Ooooh, I hate those bugs too! You might want to chase this on ubuntu-art.

Design issue, but here is a kludge. It looks like awful however. To make this more aesthetically pleasing, we would need to expand the size of the options button "dead area". Of course, comprehensive design might accommodate for issues such as this (that was a poke to you sab. ;) )

The following lines in /usr/share/gdm/themes/Human/Human.xml need to be changed for the kludge approach:

Line 21:
    <box xpadding="0" spacing="10" orientation="horizontal">
Line 24:
        <pos y="100%" width="box" height="box" anchor="sw"/>

Sincerely,
