If you still face this issue and are able to reproduce the crash can you please get a backtrace by following the procedure here <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Unity/FilingBugs#Getting a stack trace> and attach it to this bug report. In the current form this bug report does not have any useful logs.

Alt+drag and 64-bit indicates that this is caused by the same issue as other Alt+64-bit issues. I've got a fix in the attached branch, if you still experience it after tomorrows release (3.8.4), please re-open this bug.
