Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
RELEASE: Natty Narwhal
CD/DVD VARIANT: 32bit Xubuntu desktop cd
ISO BUILD: 20110422.1
SYMPTOMS: When installing, at the "Allocate drive space" page of the installer, choosing " Install Xubuntu alongside them" results in the partitioner automatically choosing to use sdb as the drive. There is no option to select sda, even though sda has a single 40GB partition and the largest partition on sdb is 11GB.
STEPS TO PRODUCE:
1. start the computer with the Xubuntu/Ubuntu desktop cd
2. Choose install now.
3. at the " Allocate drive space" page, choose " Install alongside them" and click Forward
4. attempt to change drives
5. In any system with more than one hard disk, it is not possible to change drives. It is pre-selected for you.
