Bug Description

When choosing between trying out Ubuntu or installing it with the 386 desktop live CD, the menu at the top of the screen is cropped. See top of the attached screenshot.

The menu is still possible to select, though.

Added another screenshot

Platform:
VirtualBox 4.0 on Ubuntu 10.04

Live CD:
oneiric-desktop-i386.iso

Steps to reproduce:
1) Start machine with the live CD in place
2) Wait Ubiquity

Expected Result
- A menu with network and accessibility option shown on top of screen

Actual Result
- Menu shown, but severely cropped

It's suggested on IRC that this may be fixed in ubiquity 2.7.24:

08:31 < ev> the panel getting cropped is probably due to the indicator path being wrong
08:32 < ev> Mario fixed that in trunk
08:32 < cjwatson> in fact that fix has been uploaded hasn't it?

ubiquity (2.7.24) oneiric; urgency=low

* Use only gtk3 in oem-config-remove-gtk (2.7.23 was also using gtk2).
* Update the directory for the panel to search for indicators.

Actually this bug still occurs with an ISO from 20110831 - while the panel is no longer cropped it actually isn't there at all which is the incorrect behavior.
