sometimes it happend after importing a clip. sometimes after double clicking an imported clip. sometimes after putting it into the timeline. but sometimes nothing goes wrong and nothing crashes. it' sporadic.

But with me in any case pitivi continued working. Only a crash-window appeared that tells you about the above error. But you can work with pitivi and save your work etc.

i'm sorry thats all i can say

Hi. I import a clip, drag it on the 'storyboard' and start editing. Any editing operation I do, pitivi crashes!

On Ubuntu 12.04 this problem still exists. I just try to edit video coded as mp4 (recorded by Nokia E52). It crasches when I want to cat/move clip, or undo last operation.

Bug effects me on 12.04, tried to "Split" an AVI file with mpeg4 (ASP) codec, with MP3 audio and then move the clip over to the start of the timeline.

When you tell Ubuntu to ignore problems with this program, it will eventually freeze during multiple "Cut" or "Split" actions, thus forcing you to force quit the program.

Already tried various video editors on Windows ( http://myriadcraft.net/forum/m/3420874/viewthread/2988592-suffica-trailer-wip ) They all cannot do what I want, nor can PiTiVi due to crashing / freezing.
