No sound in wine after upgrade to ubuntu beta

Bug Description

There is absolutely no sound in Wine in the new ubuntu 11.10. Test sound in winecfg says just "Audio test fails!"

I am not sure whether I have exactly the same problem. If I run winecfg and click the test sound button, I do get a sound but it is a crackling sound. If I push it a couple of times, the window becomes unresponsive and I have to ¨force quit¨ it.

I am on Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.

I'm in the same situation as Stapel, but with wine 1.3.
