Bug Description

OS version : Ubuntu 11.10
package version : 2.3.14-1

Expected to happen : When installing redmine, setting up the database on a local postgres server should work without error.

What actually happens: Complains that it can't find the unix socket
"psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?"
