Bug Description

In shotwell, when editing an event name the event name turns into a text box. If you right click on this, it will lock up Shotwell meaning you can only kill it from command line or System Monitor.

If you right click when not in edit mode, it will give the option to rename the event.

I would expect context menu (cut, copy, paste etc).

I be more then happy if anything apart from it locking up happened :)

When it locks up, these messages appear on the command line:
(shotwell:7744): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_is_sensitive: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(shotwell:7744): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_is_sensitive: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(shotwell:7744): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_propagate_event: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
(the last line repeats many times)

Ubuntu version Ubuntu 11.10.

Thanks for the bug report. I can reproduce this. The good news is that in git master (where we've ported to GTK 3), the hang does not occur. The assertions do still occur there, though, and we should fix those, so I've ticketed this upstream:
