Bug Description

I have installed a fresh Ubuntu 11.10 i386 and the sound fx of volume increase/decrease works. After install all the suggested upgrades and after reboot the sound disappear. The audio works good and the command increase/decrease volume works too, but can't hear that "pop!" sound anymore. I have also checked the dconf-editor under org, gnome, desktop, sound and changed the theme from "freedesktop" to "ubuntu" but it didn't help.

Hello Fabio, I guess you are Italian as I am so I try to explane it in our language: "Pop!"

Because my English is not so good I can say that the sound that I'm speaking abut is similar to the one that is present in OSX when the user increase and decrease the system volume by the multimedia key on the keyboard. I'm sorry but I don't know the name of the event sound, that's why I wrote "Pop!" that is what it seems like in my head when i hear it: like a bubble popping.

Thank you
Davide
