The message returned by the system was: Could not open network socket. Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

This problem also occurs when selecting Adept Manager from the System menu.

This problem occurs quite often, especially if I try to perform tasks that require root privileges, one after the other, without giving a few seconds of time in between. I am running a fully updated version of Feisty, 64 Bit.

One other note: I don't always get the error dialog. Sometimes the application just simply fails to start.

Invalid for Intrepid.
a) we don't have dcop anymore
b) we don't have edit as root right now ;-)

Changed in kdebase:
status: Confirmed → Invalid
