Bug Description

Semi-maximized windows have no shadow when focussed and using the latest gtk-window-decorator. Semi-maximized windows also seem to not have any border (as if they think they are fully maximized).

I thought this bug was logged already, but can't find it.

Assigning this to Sam, since I'm told that gtk-window-decorator is meant to replace unity-window-decorator in precise. So this bug will become important soon.

In the latest build, this bug seems to be only fixed partially. Semi-maximized windows have shadows, but do not have borders/frames around them. This is not super visible, but still present. Attaching screenshot.

Tested on lp:compiz-core revision 3013 - the bug is indeed fixed and does not appear anymore. Semi-maximized windows now have both shadows and borders. Good work!
